Legal Advisor: Client Agreements Banking Sector

Are you a seasoned Legal Advisor with expertise in contract law and financial regulations? Our client, a leading financial institution in the agricultural sector, is seeking a skilled Client Agreements Legal Advisor to join their team in Bloemfontein.

Key

• Draft and review legal agreements, contracts, and SLAs to ensure compliance
• Provide legal opinions, risk assessments, and compliance oversight
• Monitor and assess legislative changes, providing guidance to internal stakeholders
• Conduct due diligence investigations and legal research
• Manage external legal service providers, including attorneys and advocates
• Develop and review company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• LLB Degree or equivalent
• Admitted Attorney (served articles) or Advocate (served pupillage)
• 3 5 years post-admission experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Companies Act, National Credit Act, Consumer Protection Act, and other financial regulations
• Expertise in contract drafting, compliance, and legal advisory
