About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Advisor to join our team in Bloemfontein, South Africa. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to internal stakeholders, managing legal disputes, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle litigation matters and manage legal disputes
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and contracts
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders
- Manage legal risk and ensure compliance with applicable legislation
- Liaise with external attorneys, counsel, and other stakeholders
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions
- Assist with dispute resolution and settlement negotiations
- Maintain accurate legal records and documentation
Requirements
- Admitted Attorney
- Minimum 2 years’ post-admission experience
- Experience in Litigation is essential
- Experience in Commercial Law and Contracts will be highly beneficial
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
