Head Guide – 5-Star Safari Lodge | Kruger National Park
WILCON Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Head Guide to join a prestigious 5-star safari lodge in the Kruger National Park. This leadership role requires a deep passion for wildlife, conservation, and guest engagement, as well as the ability to manage and mentor a team of guides while delivering exceptional safari experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the guiding team, ensuring high standards of professionalism and guest experience
Conduct exceptional game drives and guided walks, providing guests with engaging and educational experiences
Oversee and uphold safety protocols for both guests and staff during all safari activities
Maintain safari vehicles and equipment to the highest standards
Collaborate with lodge management to enhance guest experiences and conservation initiatives
Train and mentor junior guides to ensure service excellence and team development
Requirements:
FGASA Level 2 (Lead Trails preferred)
Rifle proficiency certificate
First Aid certification
Valid Code 8 driver’s license and PDP
Strong leadership and team management skills
Previous experience as a Head Guide in a luxury safari lodge
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Passion for conservation and guiding
