Job Summary
Job & Company Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in audit and has transitioned into the field of Business Intelligence (BI) and data analytics. This role requires a unique blend of financial acumen and data-driven insights to support business decision-making through advanced analytics, reporting, and automation.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Utilize financial expertise to analyze and interpret business data, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Work with large datasets to extract meaningful trends and patterns for financial and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business objectives.
- Automate financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards while integrating financial and non-financial data.
- Drive data-driven strategies and contribute to the digital transformation journey within the organization.
As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential.
The requirements:
Qualification:
- CA(SA) Qualification (non-negotiable)
Experience:
- Proven audit experience within a recognised audit firm or corporate environment
- Strong knowledge and exposure to Business Intelligence (BI) and data analytics, with demonstrable experience
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases
- Knowledge of financial systems, ERP solutions, and data warehouses
Skills Required:
- Experience in financial data modelling and predictive analytics
- Exposure to cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and automation in financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and within a team to drive business intelligence initiatives
