Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Rooms Division Manager to join a luxury hotel group based in Franschhoek. This is a key leadership role, ideal for a driven hospitality professional with strong operational expertise and a passion for delivering world-class guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight:
  Oversee the efficient management of front office and housekeeping operations, ensuring smooth coordination of room assignments, cleanliness, and general maintenance.

• Guest Relations:
  Promote a service-oriented culture by handling guest feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.

• Staff Leadership:
  Recruit, train, and supervise front office and housekeeping staff. Ensure service standards are consistently upheld across all departments.

• Financial Management:
  Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and support revenue optimization strategies.

• Reporting:
  Analyze occupancy reports, guest feedback, and performance metrics to identify operational improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably in a Rooms Division or similar management role

• Strong understanding of property maintenance and systems

• Opera PMS knowledge is advantageous but not essential

• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Proven experience in budget and financial reporting

• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure

• Flexibility to work early/late shifts and weekends as required

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, or Paarl area
