Job Summary
- 3D & 2D Design: Create and modify detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using CATIA V5, adhering to aerospace industry standards and requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Engineers to develop design concepts and solutions for aerospace components and systems.
- Assembly & Component Drawings: Produce detailed assembly drawings and component designs for aerospace structures and systems.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs meet aerospace industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
- Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement of design processes.
- Technical Documentation: Assist in preparing technical documentation and reports.
- Manufacturing Support: Liaise with the manufacturing team to ensure the feasibility, precision, and integrity of designs.
Requirements:
- Qualification: A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in aerospace design and drafting, with proficiency in CATIA V5.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 for both 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Experience in designing aerospace components, including structures, mechanical systems, and avionics.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with aerospace design standards and industry regulations (e.g., AS9100).
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
