Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of design concepts and presentations for various commercial projects.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to establish project goals and requirements.
- Source materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with project themes and budgets.
- Participate in on-site visits to ensure design intent is adhered to during the construction phase.
- Contribute to team brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of completed projects is required.
- NCIDQ certification or equivalent is a plus.
