A well-established vehicle dealership is looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team in Cape Town. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified technician with strong diagnostic, repair, and maintenance experience within a corporate dealership environment.

Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Motor Mechanic with a Trade Test Certificate.
Mechanical Engineering qualification advantageous.
Minimum 45 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician within a corporate vehicle dealership like Mercedes – Benz, Toyota, Ford, VW, etc.
Experience working within a corporate vehicle dealership.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Valid SA Driver’s Licence.
Clear criminal record.
Solid track record and contactable references.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform general servicing and maintenance on vehicles.
Conduct diagnostics and fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems.
Repair and test vehicles booked into the workshop.
Complete job cards accurately and within allocated times.
Carry out warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards.
Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Maintain workshop tools and equipment.
Adhere to health, safety, and dealership procedures.
Assist with technical problem-solving and quality control where required.
