Job Summary

Qualifications Matric Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Food Safety, or a related field Requirements Knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Duties Documentation and Record Management Maintain accurate and organised records of QC inspections, testing results, and non-conformities. Prepare and update quality control documentation, including inspection reports, certificates of analysis (CoA), and quality control checklists. Ensure all quality records are compliant with internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Inspection and Testing Coordination Assist QC Inspectors in scheduling and coordinating inspections and testing processes to ensure products meet quality specifications. Support the QC team by preparing samples, setting up testing equipment, and recording test results. Non-Conformance Tracking and Reporting Monitor non-conformance reports and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Generate and distribute non-conformance reports to relevant stakeholders and track corrective actions to closure. Audit Support Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and records. Collaborate with the QC and QA teams to ensure all audit requirements are met, including corrective action follow-ups. Quality Improvement Initiatives Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Provide support in implementing process changes, reviewing quality procedures, and updating related documentation. Training and Development Coordinate and maintain records of training for QC team members, ensuring all staff are informed of quality standards and procedures. Assist in the development and updating of training materials and quality documentation as needed. Communication and Coordination Liaise with production, logistics, and other departments to ensure that QC requirements are communicated and followed. Act as a point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding QC documentation and quality standards.
