Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
– Partner with the CFO to provide strategic financial leadership across business operations.
– Identify opportunities for improving systems and processes to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
– Advise business units on financial strategies and operational improvements to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
– Develop, implement, and refine financial models to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
– Drive cost-saving initiatives across the organization, providing actionable insights for financial optimization.
– Oversee the delivery of key financial projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
– Engage with stakeholders at all levels, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication of financial insights.
– Monitor and report on financial performance, providing regular updates and recommendations for improvement.
– Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of financial plans to support business goals.
Requirements:
– CA(SA) qualification; CIMA qualification is highly beneficial.
– Completed articles with a minimum of 5 years of commercial finance experience.
– Proven experience in building and implementing financial models that support business performance and growth.
– Demonstrated ability to drive cost-saving initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
– Experience in delivering large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.
– Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior business leaders.
– Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling tools.
