If you’re passionate about life insurance, technical excellence, and driving real-world solutions for clients, this could be your next big move. This role offers exposure across 22 African markets and the chance to build meaningful relationships while sharpening your actuarial toolkit.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead or support key actuarial functions, including reserving, statutory valuations, and IFRS 17 implementation
- Get hands-on with product pricing, capital modelling, embedded value, and ORSA
- Collaborate closely with the Heads of Actuarial Functions and consulting Actuaries
- Contribute to financial condition reports, surplus analysis, market research, and reinsurance reviews
- Draft high-quality client reports and assist with proposals and tenders
- Play a role in mentoring junior staff and managing client relationships
What We’re Looking For:
- A Degree in Actuarial Science or a related field
- 7+ years of actuarial experience (preferably in life insurance or consulting)
- Strong technical skills, particularly in Excel and actuarial software
- Ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong report writing skills
- Progress towards a Fellowship (ASSA, IFoA, or TASK) is a plus
