Lodge Maintenance Technician Guest Services & Facilities Support Guest Room & Facility Maintenance Perform a variety of general repairs and maintenance across guest rooms, common areas, and lodge facilities, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, door hardware, and basic carpentry. Ensure all repairs are completed promptly and to a high standard. Preventative Maintenance & System Inspections Conduct routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they arise. Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reduce the risk of service disruptions. Grounds & Exterior Care Maintain the lodges exterior spaces, including walkways, signage, lighting fixtures, and minor landscaping. Perform seasonal tasks such as snow clearing, leaf removal, and debris management to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Emergency Response & Urgent Repairs Respond quickly to urgent maintenance requests to minimize guest inconvenience and ensure safety. Troubleshoot issues efficiently and apply appropriate solutions with minimal disruption to operations. Pool & Spa Maintenance (if applicable) Monitor and maintain pool and spa systems, ensuring correct water balance, temperature, and chemical levels. Inspect equipment for wear and address potential faults proactively. Safety & Regulatory Compliance Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines while performing maintenance tasks. Report and resolve any identified hazards or equipment malfunctions to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Operational Support & Interdepartmental Collaboration Work closely with other departmentssuch as housekeeping, front office, and food serviceto support lodge operations and address maintenance-related needs efficiently. Assist with room setups, furniture moves, or technical support as required. Documentation & Record Keeping Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and scheduled inspections. Support long-term planning by logging equipment condition and service history. Guest Interaction & Professional Conduct Engage respectfully with guests when performing in-room maintenance. Deliver service with professionalism, discretion, and attention to guest comfort and satisfaction.
