Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our team in a hybrid capacity (3 days in the office). This is a key role requiring strong expertise in CRM and databases, as this has been identified as an area needing urgent attention.
The ideal candidate will work closely with our Senior Developer in Poland, so they must be capable of hitting the ground running. Once settled, this person will also take on mentorship responsibilities for junior developers, helping to guide and support their growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 – 8+ years of experience in Web/Data Development.
Backend Development:
-
- PHP (Laravel knowledge is a plus)
- MySQL / MariaDB (Database administration, queries, and optimization)
- JavaScript (Vue.js, jQuery, or React) for UI/UX improvements
Integrations & APIs:
-
- RESTful APIs (Building and consuming APIs for third-party integrations)
- Shopify API, Google Sheets API, Zapier, and other workflow automation tools
- OAuth, Webhooks, and API Authentication best practices
DevOps & Security:
-
- Linux server proficiency (Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Apache/Nginx configuration and troubleshooting
- Version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
- Basic cybersecurity practices (SSL, data encryption, access controls)
In addition, as a highly preferred attribute:
-
- Preferred experience with SuiteCRM / SugarCRM (Customization, Module Development, Workflow Automation)
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain user-facing features using
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Work on server-side logic
- Design and maintain APIs and database schema that support front-end development
- Implement security and data protection protocols
- Write efficient queries, stored procedures, and triggers to optimize database performance
- Code management and participate in CI/CD processes
- Assist with testing and debugging to ensure high application reliability
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Senior Developer in Poland to ensure seamless integration and collaboration on projects.
- Take ownership of CRM and all development challenges, ensuring great product enhancement
- Provide mentorship and support to junior developers, helping to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and attend scheduled meetings.
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effective use of business systems.
