Job Summary
Johannesburg – Gauteng – South Africa
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services- Manage user accounts, licenses, and security settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Perform regular system updates and patches
- Monitor server health and ensure high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot server-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Monitor virtual machines, hosts, and storage to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement disaster recovery solutions and ensure high availability.
- Perform capacity planning and resource optimisation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve VMware-related issues.
- Manage, configure, and maintain company Intranet using SharePoint
- Add and maintain SOPs
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
- Develop and manage backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Configure and maintain backup solutions, including on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Perform regular backup tests and recovery drills to ensure data can be restored efficiently.
- Monitor backup jobs, identify failures, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with data protection policies and regulations.
- Administer extensions, call queues, IVR setups, and SIP trunks.
- Provide user support and training on 3CX features and functionalities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT administration with a focus on SharePoint, Microsoft 365, 3CX, Windows Server, VMware, and backup solutions.
- VMware and Windows Server certifications are highly desirable.
- Microsoft certifications will be beneficial
- 3CX certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in SharePoint administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Experience with VOIP PBX system administration.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to maintaining system security and data privacy.
