Job Summary

Are you a qualified Civil Engineer with a flair for creative design, problem-solving, and delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions?

Were recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and growing civil and structural consulting firm based on the East Rand. With a full order book and strong client partnerships, this opportunity offers long-term stability, growth, and rewarding project exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead civil design for stormwater, sewer, water reticulation, bulk earthworks, and pavements

  • Develop stormwater management and scheme reports for council submission

  • Liaise with municipal authorities for services tie-ins and approvals

  • Integrate structural requirements into civil service designs in coordination with engineers

  • Manage project timelines, budgets and resources from start to completion

  • Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with engineering standards

  • Maintain detailed documentation and uphold regulatory and safety standards

  • Foster positive client and consultant relationships throughout the project lifecycle


Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • BEng / BSc in Civil Engineering

  • Minimum 3 years in civil engineering consulting

  • Proficient in Civil 3D and SSA; Revit experience is advantageous

  • Solid background in:

    • Building services (stormwater, sewer, water reticulation)

    • Pavement design (roadway layerworks, kerbs, etc.)

  • Proven ability to compile and submit engineering reports to council

  • Familiarity with residential, commercial, and industrial development requirements

  • Experience managing projects and interacting with clients and municipal officials
