Job Summary
They’re now seeking a Financial Manager who brings both strategic insight and hands-on expertise—someone who can navigate the numbers with confidence and contribute to the company’s continued growth and success.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations across multiple regional sites.
- Conduct and manage reconciliations and stock recons to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Deliver detailed financial reporting to executive teams and operational leadership.
- Partner with production teams to ensure alignment between financial data and real-world operations.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes in line with deadlines.
- Monitor and improve financial controls in a high-volume, fast-paced operational environment.
- Analyze variances, monitor cost drivers, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company accounting standards.
Experience and Skills Required
- BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Completed SAICA/SAIPA Articles.
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-articles experience in a financial management role.
- Proven background in manufacturing or production industries (non-negotiable).
- Strong skills in stock control, recons, and operational financial oversight.
- Hands-on, analytical, and able to operate in hardcore manufacturing settings.
- Location: Must be willing to work in or travel to Ogies or Lesley.
