Job Summary
Loading contract information:
Accurately interpreting and loading all contract details, including rates, allocations, and content, into the company’s business system.
Quality controlling contract information:
Ensuring all loaded contract information is accurate and meets the required standards.
Maintaining product, rate, and content information:
Ensuring the product, rate, and content information within the system is accurate and up-to-date.
Meeting deadlines:
Managing workloads and meeting deadlines for loading and maintaining contract information.
Maintaining accuracy:
Ensuring high accuracy levels in all data entry and management tasks.
Communication:
Communicating effectively with other teams, such as the Contract Administrator, Content & Information and Allocation Management teams.
Requirements:
Grade 12
A formal Travel / Tourism degree or diploma
At least 2-4 years in a similar position within the travel industry
Able to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of operations by managing the vital information related to contracts, rates, and product details.
General office duties, data input and processing, managing schedules, and handling inquiries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
Effective verbal and written communication are crucial for liaising with suppliers, clients and internal teams.
Experience in the travel and tourism industry, including product and geographical knowledge
Maintaining accuracy in data input, package creation and pricing is vital.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload and meet deadlines.
Being able to identify and resolve issues related to contracts, rates and data.
Customer-centric approach and relationship building.
Familiarity with company business systems for capturing and maintaining data and potentially GDS systems.
