Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee construction projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will ensure that construction work meets specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision: Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with plans and safety regulations.
Coordination: Act as the main point of contact between client, contractors, and subcontractors.
Quality Control: Enforce quality standards and resolve issues related to materials and workmanship.
Documentation: Maintain accurate reports and project documentation.
Safety: Ensure compliance with site safety protocols.
Key Requirements:
Location: Based in Johannesburg.
Availability: Immediate availability required.
Experience: 5+ years in a similar role.
Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Skills: Strong knowledge of construction practices and safety standards, proficiency in MS Office, and good communication skills.
