Job Summary
- Administer, monitor, and maintain all company network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and firewalls.
- Install, configure, and manage physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux, etc.), ensuring high performance and availability.
- Manage and optimise telephony infrastructure and related systems.
- Proactively monitor systems for reliability, performance, and security, responding to alerts and resolving issues effectively.
- Perform root cause analysis of faults, implement corrective measures, and document findings.
- Troubleshoot and monitor network performance for both remote and on-site deployments.
- Implement and configure monitoring tools to enable proactive maintenance of servers and infrastructure.
- Provide advanced technical support to the IT support team on complex issues.
- Collaborate with management to define and enforce policies and procedures for network security and performance.
- Secure server environments through documented policies, procedures, and continuous monitoring.
- Define and maintain network protocol standards to strengthen security between devices.
- Oversee patch management policies and ensure timely updates.
- Manage software licensing, budget control, and vendor/supplier relationships.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, recommending improvements to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Education:
- Degree l Diploma in IT Related field
- Min 3 years experience in infrastructure position
- Understanding of SQL backups
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, network administrator (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLans, Firewalls) and Server Technologies (Windows server, Linux / Unix, Active Directory)
- Knowledge of Scripting languages (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
