Key Job Functions Visit existing customer base in various SADC countries and grow the customer base in each of the countries Increase sales and profit in the assigned countries Assist in the pricing of tenders and enquiries for export customers and other associated tasks Develop and maintain relationships with staff, international and local suppliers and customers Field all export enquiries and follow up on quotes submitted & Compile Quotes/Tenders Oversee the generating of necessary export documentation Arrange pre-clearing of goods Overseeing and obtaining authorisation for trans-shipments Develop Marketing plans to achieve sales targets and increase brand visibility within the assigned countries Drive the approval of products with the Utilities in the assigned countries and include feedback in the monthly report Arrange Costing for Tenders for products to be Imported – Qualifications & Experience: Grade 12 or equivalent Import/Export experience an important advantage Knowledge of Incoterms, Letters of Credit, Customs clearance, Tariff headings and Duties, SADC Certificates and all associated Import and Export Documentation Preferred experience: 2 years experience in sales with electrical background Good overall knowledge of OHL, Cable & LV products Import/export purchasing experience a distinct advantage Essential Knowledge: Good communication in English Computer literate (Excel, Google Sheets & Docs, MS Word and Emails) Electrical background Import/export Incoterms
