Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent (NQF Level 4). Post-matric qualification advantageous. Minimum 35 years experience in tender administration, bid coordination, or procurement compliance, preferably within SOEs, parastatals, or the private sector. Strong knowledge of PFMA, MFMA, PPPFA, and National Treasury procurement regulations. Proven track record of managing the full tender lifecycle. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end tender and RFP process, including attending briefing sessions and coordinating submissions. Compile and quality-check bid documents in line with PFMA, MFMA, PPPFA, and National Treasury regulations. Ensure all statutory and compliance documentation (CSD registration, SBD forms, B-BBEE certification, tax compliance, etc.) is up to date. Manage vendor applications and portal registrations for new opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, technical, operations) to compile professional and compliant proposals. Maintain a comprehensive bid tracker and report on progress, outcomes, and lessons learned. Support continuous improvement of bid processes and templates.
