1. Required to utilize the container receiving schedule to plan and organize the receiving requirement for the site
2. Preparing the warehouse space for new shipments
3. Ensure quality checks are done on the incoming containers
4. Receiving and check all stock accurately
5. Labelling all stock
6. Manage all batches for stacking
7. Identify damages, quantify and advise the Shipping Department
8. Capture and prepare the packing slip for GRN
9. Manage the return of empty containers

 
REQUIREMENTS

1. Grade 12 (with Mathematics/Maths Literacy)
2. Minimum of 3 years in warehousing environment
3. Experience working in Receiving
4. Computer literacy is essential
5. Have a working knowledge of:
6. Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures.
7. Methods of receiving, inspecting and issuing materials.
8. Warehouse operations, procedures, equipment and terminology.
9. Space utilization and inventory techniques.
10. Health and safety regulations.
11. Inventory methods and practices.
