Responsibilities / Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily CNC workshop activities.
• Operate, set, and program CNC machines using Mastercam or similar software.
• Work with Fanuc controllers to ensure accurate programming and machining.
• Oversee workflow, allocate tasks, and monitor team performance.
• Ensure components are manufactured to specification, tolerances, and deadlines.
• Conduct first-off and quality inspections.
• Train and mentor operators and junior staff.
• Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are properly maintained.
• Enforce workshop safety standards and company policies.
• Provide technical support, problem-solving, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in CNC machining, programming, and workshop operations.
• Proven supervisory or foreman experience in a CNC workshop environment.
• Proficiency in Mastercam (or similar CAD/CAM software).
• Experience working with Fanuc controllers.
• Strong technical knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and tolerances.
• Non-smoker preferred.
• Residing in or near East Rand (Boksburg, Kempton Park, Benoni, Germiston).
