As the Business Development Engineer, you will collaborate with technical and commercial teams to identify new opportunities, understand client needs, and propose value-driven solutions tailored to the process industries.

Education:

– BSc / BEng in Chemical Engineering
– Commercial or business development training is advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

– 3–5 years’ experience in technical sales, business development, or process engineering
– Exposure to or experience in the chemical, metals, or mining sectors
– Strong technical communication and solution-selling abilities
– Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
– Self-motivated with a strategic and analytical mindset
– Willingness to travel locally and regionally

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and grow a pipeline of business in target industries
– Engage with engineering and procurement stakeholders to understand challenges and propose solutions
– Collaborate internally to align technical offerings with market needs
– Meet and exceed sales and business growth targets
– Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
