Your Key Responsibilities: Develop & Automate: Build and manage our Azure ecosystem using core services like Azure VMs, Blob Storage, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL . You will automate provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and ARM templates . Deploy & Streamline: Implement and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions to ensure smooth and reliable releases. Deliver & Optimize: Take ownership of our platform’s reliability and performance. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure for security and cost-efficiency, using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights . What You Bring to the Team: A deep understanding of Azure core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, AAD). Proven hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or ARM templates . Proficiency in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions . Expertise in implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights . Strong scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash . Solid knowledge of networking and security best practices within Azure. Location & Travel: This is a remote position , offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. However, preference will be given to candidates based in the Western Cape , as the role requires travel to the beautiful Garden Route on a monthly basis for key team collaborations and meetings.
