• Translate business needs into technical designs, system workflows, and integration models
• Design and document end-to-end system processes, data structures, and component interactions
• Develop clear, detailed functional specifications for the development team
• Collaborate with QA and developers throughout the development lifecycle to ensure delivery matches specifications
• Conduct system impact assessments and ensure seamless integration between components
• Support root cause analysis by reviewing system logs, API traffic, and database queries
• Maintain accurate documentation of system architecture, logic, and configurations
• Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation standards and design practices
• Stay up to date on platform architecture, integrations, and third-party services such as payment gateways, credit bureaus, and mobile operators

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3–6 years’ experience in systems analysis, functional design, or solution architecture
• Strong understanding of API design, system integrations, and data flow modelling
• Proficient in writing SQL queries to validate data, logic, and system behaviour
• Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Postman, Miro (or equivalents)
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices and cross-functional collaboration
• Clear communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical discussions
• Bonus: Exposure to lending platforms, financial services, or fintech integrations (e.g., credit bureaus, mobile wallets, payment systems).
