Seasonal Hotel Spa Therapist – The President Hotel (Bantry Bay, Cape Town)

Set between Cape Town’s vibrant city life and the Atlantic Ocean, The President Hotel is an iconic destination with 349 rooms, breathtaking views, a palm-lined infinity pool, and world-class dining.

We are seeking Skilled Spa Therapists to join our wellness team for the high season (November 2025 – January 2026). This 3-month seasonal contract is perfect for therapists with proven expertise in facials, massages, and body treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Facials – Deliver professional facials tailored to individual guest needs using luxury products and techniques.

• Massages – Perform a range of massage therapies (relaxation, deep tissue, aromatherapy, etc.) to the highest professional standards.

• Body Treatments – Provide wraps, scrubs, and other body treatments that meet spa menu standards.

• Guest Care & Consultation – Assess guest preferences, recommend the best treatments, and ensure an exceptional personalised experience.

• Upselling & Retail – Confidently recommend spa products and additional treatments to enhance wellness outcomes.

• Hygiene & Operations – Maintain immaculate treatment rooms and follow all opening/closing and hygiene protocols.

• Service Excellence – Deliver warm, professional, and attentive service at all times.

Requirements

• Matric certificate (Grade 12).

• Recognised spa/beauty therapy qualification (CIDESCO, ITEC, or equivalent).

• Minimum 1–2 years’ hands-on experience in facials, massages, and body treatments (non-negotiable).

• Previous experience in a luxury spa or hotel environment (advantageous).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Professional, well-groomed, and guest-focused.

• Must have a valid South African ID.

Contract Details

• Duration: 3 months (November – January).

• Must be fully available for November, December, and January.

• Only applicants with spa therapy qualifications and treatment experience will be shortlisted.
