Job Description: The IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to users and troubleshooting problems related to hardware, software, network systems, VMWare environment, 365 Administration, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Azure as well as Hyper-V. This position requires a strong understanding of computer systems and an aptitude for problem-solving and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and network systems. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues reported by users. Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems. Responding to technical support inquiries in a timely manner. Providing technical assistance and training to users as needed. Documenting technical support activities and maintaining records. Collaborating with other IT staff to ensure the smooth operation of systems. Performing system upgrades and improvements as needed. Uphold security standards across our network infrastructure. Uphold security standards across our network infrastructure. Technical Excellence: Perform fundamental technical tasks under supervision, ensuring system stability. Assist in troubleshooting basic technical challenges, seeking guidance when needed. Conduct routine maintenance to uphold optimal performance of technical platforms. Personal Qualities: Analytical thinking, innovative mindset, adaptability, and attention to detail. Problem-solving skills, resilience, effective time management, and decision-making abilities. Effective Communication and Collaboration: Engage in clear and concise communication with team members and stakeholders. Leadership and Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate leadership by taking ownership of assigned tasks and initiatives. Contribute to fostering a positive and productive work environment through teamwork. Proactively suggest improvements to implementation and support processes. Qualifications & Experience: Degree / Diploma, Information Technology, or related field. Microsoft certified Relevant vendor and industry certifications, e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware Strong understanding of computer systems and networks. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Experience with network systems, VMWare environment, 365 Administration, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Azure as well as Hyper-V. Experience with Servers and SharePoint Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints.
