A renowned private game reserve is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Field Guide to join its guiding team. The role calls for an individual with strong bush knowledge, excellent guest engagement skills, and the ability to create memorable safari experiences that reflect the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided game drives and bush walks, providing guests with safe, informative, and memorable wildlife experiences.
  
• Share expert knowledge of local fauna, flora, and ecosystems in an engaging and educational manner.
  
• Ensure guest safety and comfort at all times during safari activities.
  
• Mentor, support, and upskill junior guides to maintain consistently high guiding standards.
  
• Act as an ambassador for conservation and sustainability initiatives within the reserve.
  
• Assist with reserve management tasks where required, including wildlife monitoring and conservation support.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years guiding experience within a luxury lodge or game reserve environment.
  
• Recognised Nature Site Guide qualification (NQF2).
  
• Valid drivers license and PDP.
  
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills with a genuine passion for people.
  
• Strong bush craft, tracking, and 4×4 driving abilities.
