About the Role
The Recruitment Pro is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and excellent technical skills, with a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage budgets for construction projects
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential cost savings
- Develop and maintain accurate quantity take-offs and bills of quantities
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project delivery meets client requirements
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost optimization
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary education
- 15-20 years’ experience as a QS in construction
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CCS BuildSmart quantity surveying software
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
