Candidate requirements: 

• Grade 12, with a formal hospitality or tourism management qualification
• Fluency in English (Portuguese advantageous).
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as Lodge Manager or General Manager in a luxury lodge/hotel, preferably in a remote location.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel; understanding of lodge management systems.
• The ideal candidate is a charismatic leader with a calm, approachable manner.
• High energy levels with a passion for guest delight and exceptional service.
• Culturally sensitive and adaptable to island life.

This is a live-in role.

This luxurious Eco-Safari Camp is located in the Big-5 Manyoni Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal. Guests can enjoy a luxurious stay while still being immersed in nature. This position is perfect for a friendly and outgoing Manager with previous 5-star experience.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must have previous senior management experience in a 5-star establishment
• A tertiary qualification in Hospitality is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Passionate about the overall guest experience 
• Great attention to detail
• Confident, friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proficent in computer programs (Microsoft, PMS, Google, Nightsbridge, POS)

On Offer:

• 7 days off per month
• Salary: R18k-R25k, depending on experience
