Job description:
• Manage IT Network, Security and Telephony contribution to Organization’s objectives
o Assist in developing and aligning IT Network, Security and Telephony strategies with
business objectives
o Add value to company by providing a stable network, telephony and security
o Infrastructure Manage the budget effectively
o Manage external SLA’s and ensure adequate vendors support
o Assist to identify, calculate and manage risks affecting the organization
o Monitor and manage disaster recovery and business continuity
• Manage IT Network, Telephony and Security infrastructure (Operational Excellence)
o Manage incidents and releases
o Manage problems and changes
o Design, implement and manage the configuration of the infrastructure
o Manage usage and capacity planning
o Manage LAN and WAN
o Manage Infrastructure security (includes physical access rights to IT premises)
o Develop and implement enabling solutions to improve productivity and efficiency
o Administrate license agreements for all company software
o Manage physical security infrastructure of the Company
o Manage Call Center Application
• Manage User Orientation
o Manage in-house effectiveness and competitive costs compared to outsourcing
o Deliver excellent services to the Company Group (TCF)
Continuously maintain and upgrade network and security systems to make business
o Processes more efficient and effective (user-friendly) for staff to deliver an excellent service
to clients (TCF) Translate strategy into plans
• Manage Future Orientation
o Attract and retain suitably qualified employees
o Continuously train, mentor and develop IT staff
o Build climate of empowerment and responsibility
o Measure and reward performance
o Research emerging technologies
Requirements:
• Knowledge and Skills
• Formal Education
o IT related Qualification
• Technical/Legal Certification
o Cisco Certification
o Security Certification (CISSP would be an advantage)
• Experience
o IT experience: 10 years o 3 – 5 years management experience
o Insurance industry experience: 3 years (Advantage)
o Cisco: 5 years
o Telephony Systems
