Job DescriptionAbout the RoleMy client is seeking a confident and experienced Head of Product to lead product development and supplier relations within their dynamic hospitality business. This pivotal role requires a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can negotiate the best supplier terms, and has a proven track record of managing strong networks across Southern and East Africa.Key Responsibilities Negotiate favourable terms with product suppliers to maximise profitability. Develop and implement product strategies across destinations and markets. Ensure accurate, up-to-date product and pricing information across platforms. Conduct training programs, supplier meetings, and site inspections. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align product strategies with source markets. Analyse sales performance and optimise product mix to achieve KPIs. Provide ongoing support to consultants with product queries and supplier issues.RequirementsWhat Were Looking For Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience. Strong supplier network across Southern & East Africa. Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organised. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure. Experience in international source markets (German, North America, Latin America, French, Asia) is advantageous. Travelyst/TourPlan experience is beneficial.
