Job Description
- Draft and prepare legal documents, pleadings, notices, and court correspondence
- Manage case files, court deadlines, and electronic/manual filing systems
- Support attorneys with litigation and conveyancing matters
- Liaise with clients, advocates, financial institutions, and municipal authorities
- Diary management, meeting coordination, and minute-taking
- Handle confidential information with discretion
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal in a litigation environment
- Strong knowledge of legal documentation and procedures
- Excellent organizational, typing, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal software (e.g., Lexis Nexis, Ghost Practice, Legal Suite) is a plus
- Valid driver’s licence and own car advantageous
