What You’ll Be Doing:
This is no ordinary admin job – you’ll be at the heart of our operations, making sure everything runs smoothly so our creative team can do what they do best. You’ll handle a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Owning all day-to-day bookkeeping tasks: receipts, deposits, invoices, POs, refunds & more
- Running the full creditors and debtors function, including monthly reconciliations and follow-ups
- Managing the asset register and keeping petty cash in check
- Assisting with payroll and staff reimbursement processes
- Preparing and sending client invoices & statements
- Being the friendly face (and voice) at the front desk: answering calls, welcoming walk-ins
- Receiving and checking supplier deliveries
- Creating and maintaining streamlined admin systems to keep us running efficiently
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential; a tertiary qualification in finance/admin is a bonus
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar finance/admin role
- Proficiency in Sage and/or Xero is non-negotiable
- Experience with Chase and/or Magnetic is a big plus
- Strong MS Office, especially Excel – you’re no stranger to spreadsheets!
- A solid understanding of bookkeeping principles
- Top-notch communication and customer service skills
- A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to juggle priorities like a pro
