Duties and Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining operational data stores and enterprise data warehouses
• Automating daily, weekly, and monthly reports across the business
• Creating and maintaining reporting cubes and dashboards using MySQL, MS SQL, SSRS, and Power BI
• Managing database performance, backups, recovery, and security
• Supporting ETL processes and data integration across systems
• Liaising with business users to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
• Ensuring data integrity, privacy, and compliance

Requirements

Required skills

• 3-5 years of experience in BI and/or DBA roles
  
• Proficiency in MySQL, MS SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Python for data analysis and advanced Excel
  
• Strong understanding of database structures, operating systems, and system utilities
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  
• Retail industry experience preferred
  

Education

• Certification/Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Management
  
• Any relevant, accredited certifications would be advantageous (Databases, Microsoft, Python, etc.)
