Killarney Gardens, Cape Town |Code EC License Required |Workshop & Site SupportVALCO Group South Africa invites applications for the position of Semi-Skilled Valve Technician to support our growing operations.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically experienced individual who is eager to build a long-term career in the valverepair and servicing industry.About the RoleWe are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, strong hands-on skills, and a willingness to learn from experiencedvalve technicians in the repair, servicing, and overhaul of: Manual Valves (Gate, Globe, Check, Ball, etc.) Safety Valves (PSVs) Control ValvesResponsibilities Assist in disassembling, cleaning, reassembling, and testing valves Support the workshop and site teams during overhauls and inspections Operate lapping and testing equipment under supervision Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance of tools and equipment Comply with all QHSE procedures and site safety regulations Drive and transport materials, valves, and tools as required (Code EC license essential)Minimum Requirements Genuine mechanical interest and aptitude Minimum qualification: Grade 12 (Matric) 12 years relevant hands-on experience (mechanical or valve-related) Valid Code EC drivers license (required for site support duties) Physically fit and able to work in both workshop and site environments Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and maintain safety standards.
