Job Description
- Lead and contribute to the design and development of advanced defense vehicles.
- Produce detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Apply engineering principles in structural design, ergonomics, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.
- Conduct design reviews, simulations, and prototype evaluations to optimize product performance.
- Provide technical input across the product development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements:
- BEng in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical design, with a strong focus on defense vehicle systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, armor systems, suspension design, and integration of mechanical subsystems.
- Understanding of defense standards and military-grade specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of defense vehicles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a high-paced, confidential environment.
- Innovative mindset with attention to detail.
