Are you an experienced Sales Engineer in Industrial Instrumentation with a strong background in temperature and infra-red measurement solutions? We are looking for a technical sales professional to join a leading player in the automation and instrumentation space. This role is focused on driving sales growth by delivering specialised solutions in heat, temperature, and infra-red instrumentation across key industrial sectors.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in field sales within industrial instrumentation
• Hands-on expertise with temperature and infra-red measurement technologies
• Relevant technical qualification (Engineering / Instrumentation / Plant background)
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets in technical instrumentation markets
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
• Please note: Applicants without instrumentation experience will not be considered

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Solid understanding of instrumentation, particularly temperature measurement, infra-red solutions, flow, level, and pressure measurement
• Ability to prepare and deliver tailored technical presentations and proposals to clients
• Proven ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
• Experience compiling and submitting tenders and technical quotations
• Strong customer relationship skills with the ability to engage at all levels (end-users, OEMs, EPCs, and distributors)
• Competence in Microsoft Office and CRM reporting
• Results-driven, independent, and proactive in developing new markets
