Midrand: Cost Accountant posted by Network Finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate standard costs and analyze variances for materials, labour, and overhead.
• Manage inventory valuation, stock counts, and reporting.
• Track and report on project/job costing and profitability.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and support month-end close.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• CIMA qualification (or in progress) is highly preferred.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
• Advanced skills in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Syspro) and Excel.
