Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at a luxury private wildlife reserve situated in the remote and picturesque Kalahari.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and presentation of high-quality pastry and dessert offerings

• Assist in menu development with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the pastry section

• Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

• Uphold hygiene and safety standards in line with food regulations

Requirements:

• Formal culinary training with a strong focus on pastry

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally within a luxury lodge or fine dining environment

• Creative flair and attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and in a remote environment

• Strong organisational and communication skills

Package Includes:

• Monthly salary of R13,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

• Live-in accommodation: shared, furnished 2-bedroom house with en-suite room

• Company contribution of 50% towards medical aid

• 7.5% company contribution to a provident fund

• 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off work cycle
