Job Title: Front of House Namibian Citizen (Caprivi Strip)

Job Duties:
– Greeting and welcoming guests in a professional and friendly manner – Managing reservations and bookings for guests (Phone, email OTAs) – Providing information about services and facilities – Handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently – Ensuring the front desk area is clean and organised – Coordinating with other departments to meet guest needs – Assisting with check-ins and check-outs – Processing payments and maintaining accurate records – Performing administrative tasks as required – Maintain standards & SOPS – Upsell guest activities -Cashups, invoives, orders, supplies and basic stock control.
Required Qualifications:
– Excellent communication and customer service skills – Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment – Strong attention to detail and organisational skills – Proficiency in using computer systems and software (excel, google, POS/booking systems) – Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
Education:
– High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
Experience:
– Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
– Knowledge of lodge operations and procedures – Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively – Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy – Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
– Certification in hospitality management or related field is advantageous
Working Conditions:
Remote location so will be on a cycle system to be discussed in the interview
