Are you a technically driven engineer with a passion for mobile hydraulics and system design?
We’re searching for a Mobile Hydraulics Application Engineer to support and grow hydraulic solutions across the mobile machinery and equipment industry — from construction and agriculture to mining and transport.
This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys being close to the application, working directly with clients to design, size, and optimise hydraulic systems for real-world performance.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in mobile hydraulic systems, ideally within the OEM or equipment manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with system design, component selection, and circuit development
• Strong knowledge of pumps, valves, filters, accumulators, and sensors used in mobile hydraulic applications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or hydraulic circuit design software
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client and site visits

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Design, develop, and optimise hydraulic circuits for mobile applications
• Support sales teams with technical expertise and product application support
• Conduct on-site evaluations, troubleshooting, and commissioning assistance
• Prepare detailed proposals, schematics, and bill of materials for client projects
• Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to develop tailored solutions
• Maintain close relationships with key OEMs, distributors, and end users
• Keep up to date with market trends, emerging technologies, and product innovations
