• Identify opportunities for AI adoption and define clear, actionable AI roadmaps.
  
• Design AI and machine learning models to address complex business problems.
  
• Select suitable algorithms, frameworks, and tools.
  
• Produce technical architecture diagrams and detailed design documentation.
  
• Collaborate with data architects to ensure data quality, availability, and governance.
  
• Design and oversee data pipelines for AI model training and deployment.
  
• Oversee the end-to-end AI model lifecycle, including development, training, testing, and validation.
  
• Implement best practices for AI model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  
• Ensure seamless integration of AI systems with existing enterprise platforms.

Requirements

• Education: NQF Level 6 or higher tertiary qualification in Information and Communication Technology (Information Systems or related field).
  
• Certifications: Relevant Cloud certification (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud AI).
  
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years experience in a role involving AI architecture, solution design, or AI product management.
  
• Strong understanding of AI and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  
• Experience with cloud-based AI platforms (Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, GCP AI)
  
• Proficiency in data architecture, APIs, and system integration
  
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills
  
• Familiarity with MLOps, DevOps, and model governance best practices
