Durban: Export Coordinator posted by Switch Recruit

• Act as a key liaison between the company, suppliers, shippers, and customers, ensuring professionalism and service excellence.
• Respond to client enquiries and prepare quotations for both potential and existing customers.
• Implement financial procedures and processes for confirmed orders.
• Manage the full order execution process, including negotiating shipping and operational requirements, issuing shipping instructions, confirming supplier details, handling documentation, and maintaining stock control (including expiry dates).
• Oversee communication with clients and follow up on all shipments to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction.
• Provide support and backup to the Business Development and Key Accounts Management teams.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the export process and related procedures
• Understanding of INCO terms
• Expertise in export costings
• Experience handling the exportation of mixed goods containers 
• Experience exporting fresh produce
• Computer literate with advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with exchange rates and foreign currencies
• Working knowledge of export documentation
