Our client , a market leader who operates in the FMCG retail space, is seeking to employ a Senior Regional Retail Operations Manager to their team based in East London.
Purpose : To ensure profitable and sustainable Retailers thereby increasing sales for the Group.

Requirements:

Grade 12 Senior Certificate.
-
Business Management Diploma or equivalent qualification.
-
Minimum of 5 years retail management experience at Store Management, Retail Operations, or Distribution Centre level.
-
Strong understanding of store operations, finance, and business management.
-
Proven experience in budgeting and capital expenditure planning.
-
Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills.
-
Ability to develop and lead a team of Retail Operations Managers.
-
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
-
Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
-
Attention to detail and quality orientation.
-
High level of computer literacy.
-
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
-
Compile budgets and capital expenditure plans to ensure profitability and sustainability.
-
Review financial targets, communicate, and implement group strategies and business concepts.
-
Provide leadership and development to Retail Operations Managers.
-
Add value to independent retailers by enhancing business performance and sustainability.
-
Manage retailer relationships, addressing poor performance where necessary.
-
Provide advisory support across operations, HR, finance, logistics, and merchandising.
-
Drive sales growth across existing stores.
-
Collaborate with the Store Development team to enhance brand image and success.
-
Ensure profitability across both distribution and retail channels.
-
Compile feasibility studies for potential developments or projects.
