Humansdorp: Temp Bookkeeper (3-Month Contract) posted by West Coast Personnel

• Maintain the integrity of our Trial Balance and sub-books
• Process month-end and year-end journals (including payroll, accruals, depreciation, etc.)
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist with audits
• Handle daily cashbook, banking and cash flow monitoring
• Manage petty cash and perform monthly reconciliations
• Prepare VAT, EMP201, MIBCO and other statutory submissions
• Administer debtors and creditors accounts, invoices and purchase orders
• Maintain fixed asset and inventory registers, perform stock counts and reconcile financial accounts

 
What We’re Looking For:

• Grade 12 / Matric (Bookkeeping/Accounting diploma advantageous)
• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience up to Trial Balance
• Familiarity with accounting systems/packages
• Reliable, trustworthy and highly detail-oriented
