Cape Town City Centre: Sales Rep

Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Identifying and contacting new prospects through methods like cold calling, referrals, and networking to generate sales leads. Product/Service Knowledge: Gaining thorough knowledge of the company’s offerings to effectively educate customers on features, benefits, and how they solve problems. Customer Interaction: Engaging with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing information, and answering questions about products and services. Demonstrations & Presentations: Delivering product demonstrations and sales presentations to potential clients to showcase value and suitability. Negotiation & Closing: Negotiating contracts, terms, and prices with clients to finalize deals and process sales agreements. Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Achieving Sales Goals: Meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets (quotas) to contribute to the company’s overall revenue and commercial growth. Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitoring market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to position products effectively. Collaboration: Working with internal sales teams to coordinate sales efforts and programs. Reporting: Preparing sales reports, tracking sales activity, and maintaining client records in customer relationship management systems. Minimum Requirements: Previous experience in sales. Understanding of supply chain principles. Computer Literate. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset. Adaptability to changing priorities and operational demands.
