About the Company & Opportunity
Our client is a leading organisation with complex, multi-site operations, where robust ERP and procurement systems are central to business performance. As the ERP Specialist: Distribution, you will be the go-to expert for Oracle Fusion and Coupa, ensuring systems are effectively integrated, user-friendly, and continually improved to support business needs.
You’ll work closely with operational teams, IT stakeholders, and external partners to deliver a best-in-class distribution systems environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and improve the Oracle Fusion SCM module and Coupa procurement systems across multiple operations
- Ensure alignment with a standardised system template across all business units
- Monitor, support, and enhance ERP performance, especially for distribution and procurement functions
- Maintain and manage system interfaces between Oracle Fusion, Coupa, and other platforms
- Conduct training for end-users and super-users, and maintain up-to-date training materials
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in ERP-related processes
- Work closely with a small external support team to resolve third-tier support issues
- Perform business process mapping for ERP system enhancements
- Collaborate across departments to ensure systems align with operational and strategic goals
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- NQF 7 Qualification in IT, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Formal training or certification in Oracle Fusion
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience working with Oracle Fusion SCM (Supply Chain Management) modules, especially in distribution
- 2+ years’ experience in Coupa system administration
- Experience in business process mapping and ERP implementations
- Experience working with databases, including knowledge of table structures
- Exposure to multiple business systems outside ERP (e.g., mining or plant processing) is beneficial
Knowledge & Skills:
- Deep understanding of supply chain and distribution processes
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder communication and training delivery skills
- Understanding of JDE distribution modules is an advantage
- Project management certification is a plus
