Johannesburg North: Accountant posted by Communicate Finance

As the Accountant, your duties and responsibilities include the following:
Assist with audits and preparation of audit files (recons, balance sheet accounts, supporting documentation)
Handle company tax
Manage treasury functions
Compile ad-hoc financial information, forecasts and statutory reports
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, provisions, accruals and journals
Oversee departmental income statements and investigate variances
Ensure IFRS for SME’s compliance
Maintain fixed assets and tax asset registers
Calculate depreciation
Process and reconcile foreign credits
Ensure accurate, timeous local reporting and uphold strong corporate governance
 
Skills & Experience:
3-5 years’ of experience in a similar role
Advanced Excel skills
Passion for accounting
Excellent time management skills

Qualification:
Completed BCom degree
